Steve Lambert’s Self-Control Internet Gets Big Attention
Artist Steve Lambert has created an internet sensation in his new Self-Control Firefox application. The app prevents access to either email, facebook, twitter, etc based on user stipulation – for a user-defined amount of time. The hook is that if you change your mind, too bad! You must wait until the stipulated time expires. Rebooting or Shutting Down will not change anything. During the shutdown period the web remains otherwise accessible.
